Osthofen Sports Club Hosts Glücksferien Mental‑Health Holiday Week for Children

From 20 to 24 October 2025, the Turngemeinde 1848 Osthofen held its annual Glücksferien holiday week in the Carl‑Schill‑Turnhalle. The program, aimed at children aged 6‑10, centered on resilience, emotional awareness and mental well‑being. Participants learned to recognise, name and express feelings through playful, creative activities under the guidance of volunteer coaches. The event received media coverage when SWR produced a TV report on the week. Organisers say the week helped children build confidence, mindfulness and inner strength while also providing working parents with reliable childcare support.
