Ostrołęka and Racibórz Transform Former Public Sites into New Recreational Hubs

In Ostrołęka, the former hospital on Sienkiewicza Street is being demolished to make way for an amphitheater and a saline‑spa complex, part of a broader plan to reconnect the city with the Narew River and improve the area between the town’s bridges. The redevelopment also anticipates the opening of a new bridge later this year.

In Racibórz, the historic site of the early‑20th‑century RSV 03 stadium has been repurposed. After several decades of sports use, the area was converted into the H2Ostróg aquapark, officially opened on 27 June 2026. The new facility includes swimming pools, a beach area and water attractions, continuing the location’s century‑long role as a centre for sport and recreation.
