OTE announces executive appointment and rebranding transition

OTE is undergoing significant organizational and brand transitions. Giannis Vitzilaios has been appointed as the Chief Commercial Officer for the Business Segment, effective October 1, 2026. Reporting directly to CEO Kostas Nemphis, Vitzilaios will oversee B2B activities, focusing on digital solutions, Artificial Intelligence, and expanding the group's international ICT presence. He will continue to serve as the Chief Information Technology Officer on a temporary basis.

Simultaneously, the company is progressing through a rebranding phase, transitioning from Cosmote Telekom to Telekom. As part of this period, leadership from Deutsche Telekom, including CEO Tim Höttges and Board Member Dominique Leroy, is scheduled to meet with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Athens. Discussions are expected to cover the regulatory environment and investment facilitation within the telecommunications sector.
