Outdoor cinema events scheduled in Dongen and Waalwijk

Several communities in the Netherlands are hosting free outdoor cinema events throughout September.

In Dongen, Cultuurhuis De Cammeleur will conclude its summer series with a free screening of the film ‘Notting Hill’ on Friday, September 11. The film was selected by public vote, winning a close race against ‘A Complete Unknown’. The event begins at 20:30 in the park, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets.

In Waalwijk, Stichting PACKhuis is organizing a series titled ‘Films onder de Sterren’ (Films under the Stars) at the Stadstuin Hooisteeg. The series will take place on three consecutive Fridays: September 11, 18, and 25. Funded by the Waalwijk Citizen Budget, the initiative aims to foster community connection. The site opens at 19:30, with films starting at 20:30. Food trucks will be available on-site, and attendees are permitted to bring their own drinks and seating.
