Film-themed community events in the Netherlands

Overview

Local communities in the Netherlands are hosting various film-themed events and outdoor cinema series during late August and September.

In late August, Dedgum scheduled a village festival featuring a film and television theme, including a red carpet arrival and the presentation of the ‘Gouden Einekoer’ award. Simultaneously, Dieren celebrated the 40th anniversary of Filmhuis Dieren with an outdoor film weekend at Wijndomein Hof.
