Outlander: Blood of My Blood returns for Season 2

The second season of the Outlander prequel, ‘Outlander: Blood of My Blood’, premiered on September 18, 2026, on Starz. The new season follows the aftermath of the first season’s attempt to travel through the standing stones of Craigh na Dun.

Henry Beauchamp faces mental health struggles and electroshock therapy in 1924 Inverness after a traumatic separation from his family. Meanwhile, Julia Beauchamp is forced to return to Lord Lovat in the 18th century, struggling to protect her infant son, William, and find a way back to Henry and their daughter, Claire.

A secondary plotline focuses on the 1715 Jacobite Rising, affecting characters Brian Fraser and Ellen MacKenzie as they navigate clan loyalties and political conflict. The season consists of ten episodes, with new installments released weekly on Fridays.

Viewers can access the series via Starz, or through streaming services such as Philo, Fubo, DIRECTV, and Prime Video. Some regional broadcasters, such as MagentaTV, also provide access to the series.
