Outlander: Blood of My Blood season 2 release dates announced

The second season of the period drama prequel ‘Outlander: Blood of My Blood’ has received a release date. In the United States, the new season will premiere on Starz on September 18, while it will be available on Disney+ in Latin America starting September 19.

The series follows two parallel love stories set in different eras. One plotline focuses on the parents of Jamie Fraser in the 18th-century Scottish Highlands during the Jacobite rising, while the other follows the parents of Claire Beauchamp in England during World War I.

The new season's trailer suggests that the central couples will face further separation due to uncontrollable circumstances. The Scottish storyline will involve the political tensions of the 1715 Jacobite uprising, affecting characters such as Brian Fraser and Ellen MacKenzie, while the historical storyline follows Henry Beauchamp and Julia Moriston as they navigate the consequences of time travel and separation.
