Over 3,300 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims return safely to Riau and Tuban

In early June, a total of 3,337 Indonesian pilgrims completed the Hajj pilgrimage and were repatriated without incident. The Ministry of Religious Affairs reported that 2,211 pilgrims from Riau Province arrived safely at Batam's Hang Nadim International Airport on 9 June as part of Kloter BTH‑07, which included 443 persons including officials and support staff. Adjustments to group manifests and a few passenger reassignments were handled smoothly, officials said.

Separately, 1,126 pilgrims from Tuban Regency in East Java returned on 8 June, arriving in stages at the local Kompi Senapan C Tuban. Local officials highlighted the orderly reception by families and expressed gratitude to the agencies that facilitated the journey. Both regions' authorities urged returning pilgrims to monitor their health and consider medical check‑ups after the physically demanding pilgrimage.
