Overgeared anime to premiere October 2 with theme by Tao

The TV anime adaptation of the popular Webtoon ‘Overgeared’ (Temparu ~Item no Chikara~) is scheduled to begin broadcasting on October 2. The series will air on TOKYO MX, BS11, and will be available for early streaming on Prime Video starting September 27.

Virtual singer and rapper Tao has been selected to perform the ending theme, ‘Ray of Emotion,’ which is set for release on October 9. The track is described as an emotional electronic dance music (EDM) piece.

Produced by REDICE STUDIO, the story follows Greed, a player in the massive virtual reality game ‘Satisfy,’ who gains the powers of a legendary blacksmith. The original Webtoon has garnered significant popularity on the Piccoma platform, receiving the ‘Piccoma AWARD 2023’.
