Overwatch launches Season 4: Heroes of Busan

Blizzard Entertainment has launched Overwatch Season 4, titled ‘Heroes of Busan’. The update introduces D. Mon (Yuna Lee), a new Tank hero and former professional gamer, who pilots the mech ‘Beast’. Her kit includes a Plasma Saber, Power Barrier, Propulsors, and a Fusion Repeater.

Significant changes have been made to the Battle Pass system. Instead of a single linear track, the 80 tiers are now divided into five shorter tracks, allowing players to choose which rewards to pursue first. Premium users also gain access to a ‘Tier Hack’ feature, enabling them to swap a seasonal Legendary skin for an item from a curated ‘Swap Pool’ of legacy cosmetics. Additionally, a mid-season ‘Unvaulted Pass’ will allow players to catch up on previous seasonal rewards.

The season also features the ‘Shooting Star: My MEKA Mania’ event running from August 11 to August 31, where players can vote for their favorite MEKA Squad members. Map updates are also included for Busan, Paraíso, and Eichenwalde.
