Łowicz and Rudna host vibrant Polish cultural festivals

The Dni Łowicza weekend in Łowicz featured a series of concerts that drew large crowds. Performers included dance‑music star MiłyPan, singer‑songwriter Wojciech Baranowski, and rap legend Peja of Slums Attack, each delivering high‑energy shows that kept the audience dancing into the evening. The festival also offered additional attractions such as a Runmageddon sports challenge, car displays, and guided city walks.

In Rudna, the International Folklore Festival "World under the Kyczer" continued its tradition of showcasing global folk culture. Hundreds of locals and visitors watched a colorful parade and a gala concert featuring ensembles from the Czech Republic, Ecuador, Ukraine, Mexico, Chile, Ghana, Senegal, India, Romania and Poland. The event was opened by mayor Zbigniew Grabowski, who highlighted its cultural significance, while festival director Jerzy Starzyński praised Rudna’s role in bringing world‑wide folk traditions to small communities.
