OXXO partners with Cubbo for e-commerce pick-up and returns
OXXO has launched a new logistics initiative to compete in the e-commerce last-mile delivery market through a partnership with the logistics technology company Cubbo. The service allows consumers to select participating OXXO locations as pick-up or drop-off points for online orders, offering an alternative to home delivery.
The project has entered an initial pilot phase in selected stores within Mexico City. By utilizing its extensive physical network, OXXO aims to address common delivery challenges, such as the difficulty of coordinating home arrivals with couriers. The service also includes reverse logistics, enabling customers to process product returns at these locations.
Through the Cubbo platform, customers shopping at various direct-to-consumer (DTC) and e-commerce brands can identify nearby collection points. Once a package is ready, the customer receives a notification to collect it at their chosen establishment.
