Pé-de-Meia program pauses July 2026 student payments

The Pé-de-Meia financial incentive program, a federal savings-based initiative for public high school students in Brazil, will not issue payments during July 2026 due to its operational calendar. Following a payment window that concluded between June 29 and July 6, the next scheduled payments are set to occur between August 24 and August 31, 2026, distributed according to the beneficiaries' birth months.

The upcoming August window is intended for students who maintained at least 80% school attendance during May and June 2026. It may also include 2026 enrollment installments and corrections for March and April attendance data.

Officials clarified that the lack of a July deposit does not indicate a loss of benefits for the month's attendance. The timing of payments depends on the processing, cross-referencing, and validation of school data by the Ministry of Education and Caixa Econômica Federal, meaning payment months do not always align directly with the reference month of attendance.
