Pé-de-Meia program pays November and December beneficiaries
Beneficiaries of the Pé-de-Meia program born in November and December are scheduled to receive their school attendance incentive payments on Monday, August 31. The federal initiative, managed by the Ministry of Education (MEC) and processed through Caixa Econômica Federal, serves as a savings program to encourage high school students to remain in school.
For regular high school students, this installment is the fifth of the year, valued at R$ 200. Students enrolled in Youth and Adult Education (EJA) are also receiving payments today related to the completion of training cycles. For the EJA modality, the incentive per frequency installment is R$ 225. To qualify for these payments, students must maintain a minimum class attendance of 80%.
Eligibility requires students to be enrolled in the public school system, aged between 14 and 24 for regular high school (or 19 to 24 for EJA), and registered in the CadÚnico with a family income of up to half a minimum wage per person. Payments are deposited into accounts managed by Caixa Econômica Federal, and students can monitor their status via the Gov.br platform.
