Sevilla bullfighting: Pablo Aguado triumphs while Garcigrande bulls disappoint

The Feria de San Miguel in Seville concluded with contrasting performances. On Saturday, Pablo Aguado achieved a historic triumph, opening the Puerta del Príncipe after cutting three ears from Jandilla bulls. His performance was described as masterful and emotional, marking a significant milestone in his career.

In contrast, the final day of the fair was widely criticized as a failure due to the poor quality of the Garcigrande bulls. The livestock lacked strength and character, which prevented the featured matadors—Morante de la Puebla, Daniel Luque, and Borja Jiménez—from achieving significant successes. Observers noted that the lack of engagement from the bulls resulted in a disappointing spectacle for the audience.

Other regional bullfighting events included David Galván performing a successful corrida in Los Barrios, where he pardoned a bull named ‘Mordedor’ from the Loreto Charro ranch.
