Pacifico Energy launches offshore wind survey in Vietnam

Pacifico Energy Vietnam, a subsidiary of the U.S.-based Pacifico Energy Group, has officially launched the offshore technical survey phase for its wind power projects in Vietnam. The launch ceremony was held in Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC).

The transition from legal and preparatory stages to active offshore technical surveying marks a significant step for the group’s portfolio. Pacifico Energy Vietnam aims to develop offshore wind projects with a total expected capacity of 1.8 GW. The total investment for these projects is projected to exceed $6 billion USD across various stages, intended to provide large-scale clean energy to support Vietnam’s high-tech sectors and digital economy.
