Padova Police issue 11 additional stadium bans to ultras

Padova Police Commissioner Marco Odorisio has issued 11 additional ‘fuori contesto’ (out of context) stadium bans, known as daspo, against members of the Padova Curva Sud ultras group. This follows a violent confrontation involving approximately 60 ultras targeting Udinese supporters during a Coppa Italia match on August 15.

The new measures target individuals with various criminal records, including drug trafficking, property crimes, and weapons possession. Among those sanctioned are two minors, aged 16 and 17, who were reported for carrying weapons or offensive objects.

These bans serve as preventive measures to exclude violent individuals from stadiums. This follows an initial round of sanctions against ten other ultras who were directly involved in the aggravated brawl in Udine. Investigations by the Digos and the Anti-Crime Division are ongoing to identify all participants in the violence, with further measures possible.
