Paignton police seize suspected drugs and large cash haul

A routine police stop-check in Paignton resulted in the seizure of suspected drugs and a large quantity of cash, believed to be worth tens of thousands of pounds.

Officers on patrol arrested a 20-year-old local man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and driving without insurance. The suspect has been released on bail until late November as investigations continue. Paignton Sector Inspector Pete Giesens stated that the proactive work helps remove suspected drugs and illicit cash from the streets.
