Paint brands announce 2027 Colors of the Year
Major paint brands have announced their Color of the Year selections for 2027, highlighting a trend toward warm, earthy, and complex neutral tones.
C2 Paint has selected Pueblo (C2-510) as its 2027 color. Described as a nuanced hue shifting between earth, rose, and brown, the color is part of the ‘Rural Renaissance’ collection. This palette aims to reflect a sense of re-engagement and sensory activation through colors like Ambrosia, Element, and Death by Chocolate.
British brand Little Greene has named Marle, a soft mid-brown, as its Color of the Year for 2027. The clay-inspired shade utilizes yellow ochre, black, and red oxide to create a balanced, sophisticated mid-tone. Creative Director Ruth Mottershead noted that the color is designed to bring warmth and a lived-in feel to contemporary interiors, moving away from dated associations of the 1970s.
