Pakistan Africa Economic Council promotes trilateral trade framework
The Pakistan Africa Economic Council (PAEC) is being positioned as a catalyst for expanding trade, investment, and institutional ties between Pakistan, China, and the African region. During an event at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Islamabad, speakers highlighted a potential trilateral cooperation framework. This framework aims to link China’s industrial and technological capabilities with the resources and market potential of Pakistan and African nations.
Feng Qiang, Chairman of the Industrial Globalization Alliance, noted that Shenzhen’s industrial strength could play a key role in this international economic cooperation. The initiative seeks to move beyond traditional diplomatic goodwill toward structured partnerships in sectors such as information technology and pharmaceuticals. The vision, led by PAEC Patron-in-Chief Ambassador Hamid Asghar Khan, emphasizes building ecosystems and human capital rather than just exporting goods to African markets.
