Pakistan Champions withdraw from WCL Season 3

The Pakistan Champions have officially withdrawn from the World Championship of Legends (WCL) Season 3. The team cited “unforeseen circumstances” following the postponement of their opening match due to technical reasons.

The withdrawal follows a history of tension between the Pakistan and India teams within the tournament. In the 2025 edition, the India Champions declined to play scheduled fixtures against the Pakistan Champions, citing geopolitical tensions and public sentiment. This allowed the Pakistan Champions to advance directly to the final in the previous season.

While the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reportedly issued clearance for the team's participation in the 2026 tournament, the circumstances surrounding their sudden exit from the current season have brought their campaign to an early end.
