Pakistan declares May 1 Labour Day public holiday nationwide; Sindh confirms province-wide observance

Pakistan's government has declared a nationwide public holiday on Friday, May 1, to mark International Workers’ Day. The decision applies to both public and private sector institutions, with offices set to remain closed on May 1 and recognizing workers' contributions across the country.

Separately, the Sindh provincial government announced a public holiday on May 1 across the province. Officials said there will also be three back-to-back holidays next week.
