Pakistan exports to GCC rise to $1.94bn led by UAE growth

Pakistan’s exports to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) rose by 2.1 percent during the period of January to July 2026, reaching a total of $1.944 billion. This represents an increase of approximately $40 million compared to the same period in the previous year.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) served as the primary driver of this growth, with exports to the country increasing by 5.9 percent to $1.280 billion. The UAE currently accounts for 65.9 percent of Pakistan’s total exports to the GCC region. Saudi Arabia remains the second-largest market, contributing 20.6 percent of the total, with a modest export increase of 1.4 percent to $401.1 million.

While the UAE and Saudi Arabia together comprise 86.5 percent of Pakistan’s regional trade, other markets showed notable movement. Kuwait recorded the highest percentage growth among GCC destinations, with exports rising 14.7 percent to $71.9 million.
