Overview
Pakistan’s exports to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) increased by 2.1 percent between January and July 2026, totaling $1.944 billion. This growth, an increase of approximately $40 million over the previous year, was primarily driven by the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where exports rose 5.9 percent to $1.280 billion. The UAE currently represents 65.9 percent of Pakistan’s total exports to the GCC.
Saudi Arabia remains the second-largest market in the region, contributing 20.6 percent of the total with a 1.4 percent increase to $401.1 million. While the UAE and Saudi Arabia account for 86.5 percent of regional trade, Kuwait saw the highest percentage growth among GCC destinations, with exports rising 14.7 percent to $71.9 million.
