Pakistan hosts National Youth Leadership Summit 2026

At the National Youth Leadership Summit 2026, held in Islamabad, Minister of State for Law and Justice Barrister Aqeel Malik called for collective societal efforts to empower Pakistan’s youth. He emphasized that the nation’s future relies on developing young people who are skilled, responsible, and capable of leadership. Malik urged the private sector, government, and educational institutions to provide mentorship and platforms for professional development to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity.

Sardar Tahir Mehmood, President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), noted that the younger generation will shape the future of Pakistan’s economy and institutions. He characterized youth empowerment as an economic investment rather than charity, stating that the business community has a responsibility to provide market exposure and mentorship to young entrepreneurs.
