Pakistan LNG issues third tender for spot cargo
Pakistan Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (PLNGL) has issued a new tender for a spot liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo, marking the third attempt after two previous tenders were reportedly cancelled or rejected due to high pricing.
The current tender seeks bids for a delivery window between September 12 and September 16, with a submission deadline of September 8. This follows a recent procurement where Pakistan purchased a cargo at $21.88 per MMBtu, its highest spot price to date. Previous reports indicate the state-owned entity had also rejected a bid priced at $26.969 per MMBtu.
