Pakistan retired army officer alleges son abducted by JAAC in Rawalakot
Retired Pakistan Army serviceman Muhammad Naseem Kayani says his son, Dilawar Kayani, was abducted, assaulted and robbed by members of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) in Rawalakot, Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Kayani claims his son was physically and psychologically abused, threatened with gunfire and that the attackers recorded video of the assault, later circulating it on social media. The family says they have also been harassed, threatened and that personal photographs and videos from Dilawar’s phone were accessed without consent.
At a press conference in Islamabad, Kayani demanded that law‑enforcement agencies locate his son, register cases against the perpetrators and provide security for his family. No official comment from JAAC or authorities has been reported.
