Pakistan security forces kill 33 India‑backed terrorists in North Waziristan and Balochistan

Pakistan’s military said security forces killed 27 India‑sponsored Fitna al‑Khawarij terrorists in the Miran Shah area of North Waziristan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province over a 72‑hour period. Weapons, ammunition and other materiel were recovered, and the operation was framed as avenging the targeted killing of Malik Saifullah Dawar.

In a separate operation on the night of June 3‑4, forces carried out an intelligence‑based raid in Balochistan’s Panjgur district, killing six Indian‑backed Fitna al‑Hindustan militants and seizing weapons, improvised explosive devices and a vehicle. President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Balochistan’s chief minister praised the raid as a step toward peace and a blow to foreign‑sponsored terrorism. Both incidents were announced by the Inter‑Services Public Relations (ISPR) as part of an ongoing campaign to neutralise India‑linked militant groups operating in Pakistan.
