Pakistan security forces kill seven militants in Balochistan and KP
Pakistani security forces have killed seven militants during separate operations in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In the Chagai district of Balochistan, two terrorists were killed in the Nokcha area after setting fire to an empty water bowser and attempting to flee. Authorities linked these individuals to arson attacks along the N-40 highway.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an intelligence-based operation in Bara town resulted in the deaths of five militants identified as members of Fitna al-Khawarij. Security forces reported the destruction of militant hideouts and the recovery of a large cache of weapons and ammunition.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the professionalism and bravery of the security forces. Officials stated that operations will continue until all terrorist elements are eliminated from the region. The surge in militant activity in these provinces has been noted as increasing since the Afghan Taliban returned to power in 2021.
