Pakistani Trade Delegation Meets Ambassador Zahra in Paris to Boost Bilateral Commerce

Mazhar Hussain Thathal, Chairman and CEO of Global Trade Expo Centre (GTEC) Pakistan, led the sixth Pakistan‑France Trade and Business Delegation 2026 to Paris. The delegation held a high‑level meeting at the Pakistani Embassy with Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch and Trade Counsellor Salman Ahmed Raja.

The talks focused on expanding cooperation in agriculture, information technology, textiles and food processing. Delegates from major chambers of commerce—including Sialkot, Haripur, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad—received a briefing from GTEC’s Director of International Trade, Liaqat Ali Thathal, on investment potential in both countries. Ambassador Zahra reaffirmed the embassy’s support for initiatives that increase Pakistan’s exports and strengthen commercial ties with France. Both sides pledged to encourage greater private‑sector engagement, trade promotion activities and long‑term partnerships.
