Pakistan‑occupied Kashmir protests press India for aid as supply blockade deepens

Protests in Pakistan‑occupied Kashmir (PoK) entered their 26th day, with demonstrators accusing the Pakistani army of halting food and medicine supplies for three weeks, creating a humanitarian crisis. Senior leader Sardar Aman Khan addressed a large rally at Rawalkot Eidgah Ground, urging the people of India and Jammu‑Kashmir to provide assistance and asking crowds whether to march toward the Line of Control. The Joint Awaami Action Committee gave the Pakistani administration an ultimatum until 8 July, warning of broader action if demands are not met.

The unrest has attracted international attention, including a large “Million March” organized by Kashmiri diaspora in London, calling for greater global focus on the human‑rights situation in PoK.
