Pakistan‑Turkey trade conference set for Istanbul in August 2026

The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) is organising a Pakistan–Türkiye Business Opportunity Conference in Istanbul on 13 August 2026. The event, backed by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Industries Haroon Akhtar Khan and ICCI President Sardar Tahir Mehmood, aims to boost bilateral trade from about US$1.4 billion to US$5 billion through business‑to‑business meetings, joint ventures and technology transfer.

The conference will feature structured B2B sessions, sector‑specific interactions and a trade excellence award ceremony, with support from both governments and their embassies. ICCI also plans future delegations to other markets such as the United Kingdom and highlights broader economic reforms in Pakistan, including a planned corporate‑tax reduction to 25 percent and enhanced rail links to Central Asia.
