Palestine Convoy held at Ibrahim Khalil Border Crossing

The Palestine Convoy, a humanitarian mission that originated in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is currently being held at the Ibrahim Khalil Border Crossing after entering Iraq from Turkey. The convoy traveled through several European countries, including Albania and Greece, before reaching Turkey.

Organizers stated that while they are engaged in discussions with authorities regarding the transit process, the delay is not merely administrative. They expressed concerns that political and diplomatic pressure from Israel on regional countries is impacting the movement of international solidarity initiatives. The convoy maintains that its mission is peaceful and civil, aimed at drawing international attention to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Before reaching the Iraqi border, the convoy was met with support from citizens in various Turkish provinces, including Mardin and Şırnak. The group intends to continue its journey through Iraq and Jordan to reach Palestine.
