Palestinian solidarity convoy linking Srebrenica and Gaza

In late July 2026 an international civilian convoy organized by the Palestine Convoy Organisation Team travelled to Bosnia and Herzegovina. From 25 to 27 July the convoy held its central programme “From Srebrenica to Gaza: From one genocide to another” at the Srebrenica‑Potočari Memorial Centre and in Sarajevo, where participants walked through the city, issued a media statement at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and warned of the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, citing casualty figures from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

After the events in Bosnia, the convoy was escorted symbolically toward Tirana, Albania. On 26 July the convoy departed from Sarajevo, heading first to Srebrenica before continuing onward to the occupied West Bank. Originating in France, the route was presented as a symbolic link between the memory of the Srebrenica genocide and solidarity with the Palestinian people, featuring public gatherings, a solidarity march in Sarajevo, and calls for peaceful participation.
