Palestine Solidarity Convoy Departs Sarajevo for Srebrenica, En Route to West Bank

An international civilian convoy organized to draw attention to the humanitarian crisis in Palestine set out from Sarajevo toward Srebrenica, the first stop on a route that will continue to the occupied West Bank. The convoy, which began its journey in France, brings together civil‑society representatives and volunteers from several European countries. Organisers describe the itinerary as symbolic, linking the memory of the Srebrenica genocide with solidarity for the Palestinian people, stating “This will be the first convoy in the world, a symbolic itinerary that leads from one genocide to another.”

In Srebrenica the participants will join local activists, visit the Memorial Center and hold public gatherings to discuss the situation in Palestine and promote values of peace, justice and human dignity. A peaceful solidarity march is also planned in Sarajevo, moving from the City Council to the Cathedral of the Heart of Jesus, with calls for citizens to join the demonstration peacefully and respectfully.
