Palestine weather forecast predicts extreme heat through Friday

The Palestinian Meteorological Department has forecasted hot to extremely hot weather conditions lasting until Friday. Temperatures are expected to remain approximately 4 degrees Celsius above the annual average through Wednesday, before slightly decreasing to 2 degrees above the average on Thursday and Friday.

Authorities have issued several safety warnings to the public. Citizens are advised to avoid prolonged direct exposure to sunlight, particularly during peak hours between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Additionally, warnings were issued regarding the danger of starting fires in areas with dry grass and the risk of leaving children or the elderly inside closed vehicles due to the extreme heat.
