Palestine weather forecast predicts rising temperatures and heatwave

The Palestinian Meteorological Department has forecasted a period of hot to very hot weather across various regions. Temperatures are expected to rise slightly above the annual average, reaching approximately 3 degrees Celsius above normal on Sunday and increasing to about 4 degrees Celsius above the annual average by Monday and Tuesday.

High humidity levels are expected in most areas. Winds will remain light to moderate, blowing from the west to the northwest, with occasional activity. During the evening and night, conditions are expected to be pleasant in mountainous areas and warm in other regions.

Authorities have issued warnings against prolonged direct sun exposure, particularly during peak hours between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Additional warnings include the danger of starting fires in areas with dry grass and the risk of leaving children or the elderly inside closed vehicles.
