Palestine weather: Temperatures expected to rise significantly next week
The Palestinian Meteorological Department has forecasted a significant rise in temperatures starting Monday. While the weather is expected to remain typical for summer with partly cloudy to clear skies through the weekend, temperatures will climb noticeably early next week.
By Monday, conditions are expected to be hot in mountainous areas and very hot in other regions, with high humidity levels. Temperatures are projected to rise approximately 3 to 4 degrees Celsius above the annual average.
Authorities have issued warnings to the public to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, particularly during peak hours between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Additional warnings include the danger of starting fires in areas with dry grass and the risk of leaving children or the elderly inside closed vehicles.
