Palestinian civilians face ongoing violence in Gaza and West Bank
Ongoing violence and displacement continue in Gaza and the West Bank. In Gaza, reports indicate that since the October 2025 ceasefire began, at least 1,283 Palestinians have been killed, including 270 children. Total fatalities since October 2023 are estimated at 73,407. International organizations, including the United Nations and Amnesty International, continue to monitor the situation.
In the West Bank, specifically in the southern Hebron Hills near Khirbet Umm al-Khair, Palestinian residents report increasing harassment and attacks by Israeli settlers. Families describe incidents of nighttime intimidation, property damage, and attempts to seize land. In one instance, a new settlement outpost established near the village has reportedly intensified pressure on local Bedouin families, including the demolition of structures used for livestock.
In Gaza City, the Palestinian Civil Defense recently recovered the bodies of 50 individuals from beneath rubble, highlighting the long-term impact of the conflict on residential areas.
