Palestinian death toll climbs to over 73,000 amid Israeli strikes in Gaza and West Bank

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza reported that the death toll in the Gaza Strip rose to 73,066, with 1,053 deaths recorded since the October 7 ceasefire began, and a total of 173,514 injured. In the latest 24‑hour period, eight more Palestinians were killed and 26 wounded as hospitals received the casualties.

Separate Israeli operations in the occupied West Bank resulted in the death of a 15‑year‑old boy in the town of al‑Bireh after being shot by soldiers, and four Palestinians were killed in an air strike near El‑Baraka Street in Gaza, including an eight‑year‑old child. The attacks also left many others injured.

The reports highlight the continued escalation of violence and the high civilian casualty toll in both Gaza and the West Bank.
