Palestinian Prisoner Club reports surge in West Bank field interrogations

The Palestinian Prisoner Club reports an escalation in systematic field interrogations conducted by Israeli forces across the West Bank. Over a 48-hour period, more than 100 citizens were subjected to these interrogations, with operations concentrated in the towns of Al-Mughayyir near Ramallah and Bedu near Jerusalem.

In Bedu, military operations have included house raids, searches, and the establishment of an interrogation and detention center within a seized residence. The rights group noted that these actions are accompanied by physical assaults, property destruction, and the confiscation of electronic devices. Reports indicate that some citizens were detained for hours, with some being used as human shields or held in harsh conditions.

The Prisoner Club stated that these intensified field interrogations coincide with a rise in settler attacks against Palestinian citizens and property throughout the West Bank, affecting various demographics including women, children, and the elderly.
