Palisades Village Reopens as Fire Recovery Limits PCH

Palisades Village, a luxury open‑air shopping and dining destination in Pacific Palisades, California, will hold its grand reopening on Saturday, August 15. The event begins at 10:30 a.m. with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony and a day of festivities, including special offers from retailers, live DJ music, and free admission and parking. More than 40 boutiques and restaurants will be open, and the celebration will feature giveaways such as tote bags, custom patches, and specialty cocktails.

Meanwhile, Caltrans and utility crews continue lane‑closure work on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and Topanga Canyon Boulevard as part of the Palisades Fire recovery effort. Portions of PCH between Pacific Palisades and Malibu are reduced to a single lane during overnight hours, with additional daytime closures for drainage, slope repairs, and retaining‑wall construction. Speed limits remain lowered to 35 mph or 25 mph in the work zone, and drivers are urged to allow extra travel time and consider alternate routes.
