Palma completes 171,000 euro renovation of Plaza de la Inmaculada

The Palma City Council has completed the comprehensive renovation of the Plaza de la Inmaculada in the Establiments neighborhood. The project involved an investment of 171,000 euros aimed at improving urban quality, safety, and accessibility.

Key improvements include the total renovation of the plaza's pavement and the stairs located near the Cultural Center and the parish. To enhance pedestrian mobility, a raised pedestrian crossing was constructed at the access from Madre Alberta Street, alongside the creation of a single platform to facilitate walking. Additional works involved repairing walls, installing new railings, and creating tree pits for future planting.

Infrastructure upgrades were also a priority, including the undergrounding of electrical lines on Madre Alberta Street, the renewal of the drainage network to prevent water accumulation, and various improvements to the rainwater system. This project is part of the broader 'Plan Renove de Establiments,' through which the City Council has invested a total of 1.129 million euros in the neighborhood to upgrade public spaces, lighting, and local facilities.
