Palmas students head to Brasília for Brazilian School Games

Jogos Escolares Brasileiros JEBs Sub-14 Palmas municipal students student-athletes Tocantins

Students from the Palmas municipal school system are traveling to Brasília to compete in the Brazilian School Games (JEBs) Sub-14. The competition is scheduled to take place from September 11 to 26.

The delegation consists of 36 student-athletes participating in athletics, judo, and basketball (both male and female categories). This national stage follows their successful performance during the state phase of the Tocantins Student Games (JETs 2026) held in August.

The departure ceremony, held near the Tocantins State Education Secretariat, brought together families, teachers, and technical teams from the Palmas Municipal Education Secretariat (Semed) to support the young competitors.
