Overview
Student-athletes from various Brazilian regions are traveling to Brasília to compete in the 2026 Brazilian School Games (JEBs).
A delegation of 252 athletes from Mato Grosso do Sul is participating in 10 different sporting modalities, including volleyball, karate, swimming, and wrestling. The competition, held between September 13 and 26, involves over 5,000 students from across the country.
Similarly, a group of 36 students from the Palmas municipal school system is heading to the event to compete in athletics, judo, and basketball. These athletes qualified for the national stage following their performance in the Tocantins Student Games held in August.
