Joinville cargo theft: R$ 1.1 million in jet skis and quadricycles recovered

Police in Santa Catarina have recovered a cargo of jet skis and quadricycles valued at approximately R$ 1.1 million following a violent robbery in Joinville. The theft occurred on a Thursday night when armed criminals surprised a driver and his brother during a rest stop.

The victims were held captive by the assailants and later released in the municipality of Garuva. Following an investigation by the Civil Police, the stolen cargo was located in a trailer in São Bento do Sul.

Suspects were apprehended in Rio Negrinho by the Military Police. Authorities also identified and seized a vehicle used by the criminals, which showed signs of tampering and had a reported theft history.
