Pamekasan hosts Maulid Nabi commemorations and community events

Various religious and commemorative events were held in Pamekasan, Indonesia, centered around the observance of Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW.

In one event held at the residence of H. Taufadi and Hj. Ansari, over 1,000 attendees gathered for the Maulid Nabi commemoration combined with a 'haul' (memorial service) for the late Naruji Sa’i and KR. H. Abd. Ghani Syakur. The gathering included religious scholars, community leaders, and local officials. Kiai Ghazi Mujtaba delivered a sermon encouraging attendees to strengthen their devotion to the Prophet through prayer and increased religious knowledge.

Separately, the Pamekasan branch of the Democratic Party (DPC Partai Demokrat) marked both the Maulid Nabi and the party's 25th anniversary. The event, held at the party's local office, included charitable donations to dozens of orphans. The ceremony was attended by the Regent and Vice Regent of Pamekasan, as well as the Chairman of PCNU Pamekasan, KH Muchlis Nasir, who served as the preacher.
