Global urban projects advance new public park developments

Various municipal governments are advancing urban revitalization through new public park projects.

In Alicante, Spain, the Isla de Corfú Park in the La Torreta neighborhood is nearing completion. The 20,000-square-meter space, representing a total investment of over 3.3 million euros, will feature a 28-meter zipline, nine slides, a climbing wall, and calisthenics areas. The project aims to provide essential green infrastructure for a growing residential area.

In Asunción, Paraguay, the revitalization of the historic Bernardino Caballero Park is underway, with a projected completion date of July 2027. Works include restoring the historical lagoon and upgrading walkways and green spaces.

In Colombia, the Baja Suiza Recreational Park has reached approximately 20% execution. The project includes pedestrian paths, running tracks, and fitness areas integrated with existing facilities.

In Chile, the Villa Terravida neighborhood is undergoing improvements through a project focused on universal accessibility, new green areas, and improved lighting around the local social headquarters.
