Pamplona urban parking and mobility management

Overview

The Pamplona City Council is implementing various urban mobility and parking management initiatives across different neighborhoods.

In the Rochapea district, a new 24-hour orange zone pilot project is scheduled to begin on September 1, covering approximately fifteen streets. This regulation requires drivers to pay standard rates daily, with a maximum stay of 9.5 hours per ticket. Concurrently, the city is transitioning white parking zones to blue and orange regulated zones in the Arrosadía and Milagrosa neighborhoods, a move that removes roughly 1,000 free spaces near the University of Navarra and local sports venues.

In the San Jorge neighborhood, authorities are studying the feasibility of an underground parking garage on Doctor Húder Street. This proposal is part of a broader urban regeneration project designed to bury roads and increase pedestrian and green spaces. The project is in its initial stages, pending technical and economic studies to determine its final implementation.
