PAN designates key coordinators for 2027 elections in Querétaro and Huixquilucan

The National Action Party (PAN) has announced several strategic appointments as part of its organizational efforts for the 2027 electoral cycle. In Querétaro, Felipe Fernando 'Felifer' Macías Olvera has been named the state coordinator for the 'Cuidar Querétaro' project, positioning him as a virtual candidate for the governorship. The announcement, made in the presence of national leader Jorge Romero Herrera and Governor Mauricio Kuri, also included municipal appointments for Agustín Dorantes (Querétaro capital), Josué Guerrero (Corregidora), Tania Ruiz (San Juan del Río), Jairo Morales (Huimilpan), and Rodrigo Monsalvo (El Marqués).

In Huixquilucan, State of Mexico, Senator Enrique Vargas del Villar was appointed coordinator for the 'Defense of the Homeland, Family, and Liberty.' This move is seen as an effort to ensure the continuity of PAN governance in the municipality, which the party has administered since 2016. The appointment was also delivered by Jorge Romero Herrera and attended by local and national party leadership.

National leader Jorge Romero Herrera emphasized the need for party unity and warned against complacency, noting that political opponents will actively seek to challenge PAN-held territories in upcoming elections.
